Tuesday, May 24 - 4:38 A.M. Authorities responded to an unusual emergency call. Justin Levine was digging a hole in his backyard in an attempt to hide some falsified financial documents, when he struck what leading scientists have identified to be the remains of a Heterodontosauridae. Paleontologist Rodney Bean identified the creature with a crack team of Chilean landscapers that were nearby upon Levine's discovery. Bean was able to classify the remains because, "the tibia was 30% longer than the femur, which is generally considered an adaptation for speed of the species. The tibia and fibula of the lower leg were fused to the astragalus and calcaneum of the ankle, forming a 'tibiofibiotarsus' convergent with modern birds."

Levine offered no comment when The Scoop, as well as other national news organizations, approached him regarding his discovery. When the the scene was seized by expert scientists and authorities, Levine still offered no comment. The decision of what to do with the dinosaur remains, will be turned over to the community if Levine doesn't propose a plan of action soon. The remains should be donated to the Milford Institute of Literature and Film. It would draw national attention to the university which could provide the school, which is now woefully underfunded, with additional (and badly needed) revenue.
ReplyDeleteI agree with councilman Chris. The remains of this fabulous beast must be put on display so that all of Olde Milford can see it. This amazing artifact can also bring revenue to Olde Milford which will help our budget
ReplyDeleteChris brings up a great point M.I.L.F should take this in as a historic finding. Although i believe its a little fishy that he comes up with this dinosaur out of no where and him not commenting about it makes it even sketchier.

ReplyDeleteAs Fire Chief, the dinosaur remains would be a great addition to our town. Being in the M.I.L.F, the dinosaur would attract students from across the world and raise our diversity. This is a great discovery.

ReplyDeleteWait, why do I have to give the dinosaur up? I want to turn the skull into a house decoration and then sell it. Ever seen Entourage? Dinosaur heads are decorative now and are sold for a lot of money. I dont care what the students have to say about the dinosaur's skeleton. I'm making money off this.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the dinosaur should be donated to the Milford Institute of Literature and Film. Maybe one of the town's wealthier members, such as the former football player, could donate some money to the school to start a museum that would attract more international attention to our biggest and best attraction.
